In collaboration with The Pixies, A+R announces Minotaur, available as both Deluxe and Limited Edition sets on June 15, 2009. The Deluxe Edition will include all five Pixies studio albums on 24k layered CD and Blu-ray (five discs total), with reinterpreted artwork by Vaughan Oliver, the graphic designer who created all of the artwork that accompanied the Pixies’ studio albums. Also included is a DVD of a Pixies 1991 performance at the Brixton Academy, videos, bonus tracks, and a 54-page book. The Limited Edition includes the above plus all five albums on 180-gram vinyl, a giclee print of Oliver’s artwork, and a 72-page hardcover book. (via Dean Minifie)

I loved the gameplay (or what I saw yesterday of the gampley in e3), the animation, and of course the tracklist of this Rock Band.

jeffrubinjeffrubin:

I enjoyed the opening cinematic to The Beatles Rock Band game more than all of Across the Universe. Watch it in glorious full resoloution here. It’s by Passion Pictures, who is also responsible for the bulk of the Gorillaz animation.
This game couldn’t go wrong, but Harmonix is doing it right anyway.
